I adore it when my kitchen smells like cooked autumn vegetables and fantastic spices. Inspired by the idea to create an ideal autumn mood, I prepared a recipe for THAI CARROT BASIL POTAGE. Cook it and let me know your impressions. Bon appetit! <\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00bd onion, diced<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves, diced<br \/>\n400 g carrots, peeled and chopped<br \/>\n1 handful of fresh basil leaves<br \/>\na pinch of salt<br \/>\na pinch of black pepper<br \/>\n1 l water or vegetable broth<br \/>\n1 tsp peanut butter<br \/>\n\u00bd lemon, juice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Decoration:<\/strong><br \/>\nFresh basil leaves<br \/>\nA handful of peanuts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Heat the water in a big pot at moderate temperature.<br \/>\n2. Put the onions in a pot. Then, add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes.<br \/>\n3. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper, add vegetable broth or water, then stir.<br \/>\n4. Leave to boil, then lower the temperature and cook for 20 minutes, or until the vegetables soften.<br \/>\n5. Pour the cooked vegetables with liquid in a blender and blend until you get a smooth and creamy mixture.<br \/>\n6. Add peanut butter and basil leaves in a blender and blend until all the ingredients combine.<br \/>\n7. Try it and season as desired.<br \/>\n8. Serve with fresh basil and peanuts.
