Brussels sprouts, apple and walnut dish

Brussels sprouts are very powerful in the fight against the harmful effects of free radicals. They are full of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. Enjoy this warm fall and winter healthy meal.

Ingredients:

For salad:
2 tbsp ghee butter
2 tbsp olive oil
500 g Brussels sprouts, cut into quarters
1 large green Granny Smith apple, chopped into slices
1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
salt and black pepper to taste

Walnut dressing:
1 tbsp ghee butter
1 tbsp honey
¼ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:
Heat ghee butter and olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the Brussels sprouts, apples, salt and pepper. Add rosemary and saute it, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes, or until softened. To make the walnut dressing. Dissolve ghee butter in a saucepan, add honey and stir until combined. Add walnuts and continue stirring for about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside for 2 minutes. Serve salad on a plate with dressing and garnish it with walnuts. Enjoy your meal!
