Garlic spinach

Most of the Serbian people traditionally prepare spinach with milk, eggs, and flour. I stopped using this recipe a long time ago when I discovered how delicious it is when sautéed in garlic with a drizzle of lemon juice. Once I tried it this way, I’ve never wanted to eat a traditional recipe for spinach again. I hope you’ll like it as well!

Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
300 g spinach
3 tbsp water
½ lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Preheat the olive oil in a frying pan and add garlic. Fry it on a medium temperature, then add the spinach and water. Cover and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid, add salt and pepper and lemon juice. Serve spinach as a side dish for lunch or dinner.
