Guacamole
Guacamole is my favorite dip! This recipe is originally from Mexico and the main ingredient is avocado. If you are a fan of exotic cuisine this is the right dip for you!
Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados, halved and mashed
juice of 1 lemon
½ tsp salt and red pepper flakes
1 spring onion, finely chopped
2 handfuls cherry tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
Instructions:
Cut the avocados in halves and remove the pit. With a smaller knife, gently make cross-cuts in avocado meat, trying not to cut into the skin. Use a spoon to scoop out the meat of the avocado and put it in a bowl. Use a fork to mash it. Mix in all other ingredients except cherry tomatoes. In the end, when everything is smashed together, add cherry tomatoes. Serve with corn chips, tortillas or with lunch and dinner.
