Raw balls

Are you craving for healthy treats? I think I know the answer to that question so I decided to surprise you with a fantastic recipe for a very tasty dessert made out of grated carrots, fresh dates and raw walnuts. These are the raw balls that you can prepare fast and easy.

Ingredients:
¾ cup grated carrot
1 cup pitted, fresh dates
1 ¾ cup raw walnuts
2 tbsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp Himalayan salt
½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
½ tsp fresh grated ginger
1 pinch of nutmeg
4-6 tbsp coconut or almond flour
¼ cup raisins

Instructions:
Add the dates to a blender and blend them until they are finely chopped. Remove dates from the blender and set aside. Then put the walnuts, vanilla extract, salt and spices in the blender. Blend for about 15 seconds, and then mix them with dates and grated carrot. Blend until a sticky mixture is formed. Add 4 tbsp of coconut flour and raisins and make a ball using the mixture. Separate 1 tbsp of the mixture and make a smaller ball. Repeat the same with the rest of the dough. If the dough is too sticky to form balls, add more coconut or almond flour. If desired, roll balls into coconut flour (optional) and enjoy immediately or refrigerate to make them more firm. Store the balls in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month.
