Red lentil hummus with avocado
New recipe – a completely unusual combination! It is a recipe for red lentil avocado hummus, which you can eat as a spread, as a dip for vegetables or crackers, but also as a side dish. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
½ cup cooked red lentils
3 tbsp lemon juice
¼ fresh red bell pepper
½ tsp Himalayan salt
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
⅓ tbs ground pepper
½ avocado
4 tbsp water, or more if hummus is too thick
1 spring onion for decoration, chopped
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a food processor. You can serve homemade hummus with bell peppers, cucumber sticks or crackers.
