Thyroid-boosting green smoothie
This green smoothie is excellent for supporting the endocrine system. It’s a combination of anti-allergic sources of proteins, fats and fibers from vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 handful arugula
1 handful chard
1 carrot
½ ripe avocado
5 cm celery in a stick
5 cm cucumber
1 small handful of fresh basil
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 tbsp coconut protein powder
pinch of unrefined sea salt
To increase the nutritional value of this smoothie, you can add:
1 tsp camu camu powder to add up more vitamin C
1 tsp maca root powder (it stabilizes hormones)
⅓ tsp turmeric (anti-inflammatory properties)
