Turkey burgers
We are all familiar with craving a high portion of protein after exercise. In my case, with lots of vegetables as well. That’s exactly how this recipe was created. I wanted to make burgers that would fit into my concept of clean eating. So, I created these delicious healthy turkey burgers.
My mom asked me how did the burgers manage to stay so compact and not fall apart without meat-binding ingredients. Honestly, I didn’t even think about it. I turned the music on, let my imagination do the job and that’s how this recipe was made.
I warmly recommend this recipe to those who eat turkey, I think you’ll love it. It takes only around 12 minutes to prepare this recipe. Great, isn’t it? P.S. Don’t forget a large serving of your favorite salad.
Ingredients for 4 people:
250 g ground turkey meat
1 egg
2 spring onions, finely chopped
½ bundle of parsley leaves, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste (both for burgers and salad)
7 tbsp light sesame oil
4 handfuls of baby greens
3 tbsp pumpkin oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and shape burgers with your hands. Preheat the pan with sesame oil and fry the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, until the meat is completely done. Transfer the burgers to a plate with a paper towel to soak up the excess oil. In a large bowl, combine baby greens with pumpkin oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Serve salad on a plate and place 2 burgers on top.
