Turmeric latte
Turmeric latte is a healthy alternative to coffee, it tastes great and it’s easy to make. Turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory properties, which can help ease inflammation and increase the antioxidant capacity of the body. You can also add ginger and cinnamon, which have bioactive compounds with powerful medicinal properties, too.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp ground cinnamon
a pinch cayenne pepper
a pinch ground ginger or a tiny piece of fresh, peeled ginger root
1 tsp coconut oil
3-6 drops of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Put all the ingredients in a pot and whisk to combine over low heat. Once hot, pour into mugs and sprinkle with a little more cinnamon to serve.
