Green smoothie
This green smoothie is great in reducing inflammatory processes and detoxifying the body. It’s a combination of anti-allergic sources of proteins, fats and plant fibers. It will make you feel calm, satisfied and full of energy.
Ingredients:
1 handful baby spinach
1 carrot
½ ripe avocado
5 cm celery in a stick
5 cm cucumber
1 small handful of fresh basil
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 tbsp pumpkin protein powder
a pinch of unrefined sea salt
To increase the nutritional value of this smoothie, you can add:
1 tsp camu camu powder to add up more vitamin C
1 tsp maca root powder (it stabilizes hormones)
⅓ tsp turmeric (anti-inflammatory properties)
Instructions:
Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve. Enjoy this low-glycemic breakfast, lunch or snack.
